Castrol develops new Castrol Magnatec with revolutionary Dualock technology

Castrol introduces a new generation of Castrol MAGNATEC engine oils specially designed for today’s urban driving conditions. When creating the new Castrol MAGNATEC, the innovative DUALOCK technology was applied, which reduces engine parts wear by up to 50% when it is warming up and when the car is moving in traffic jams.

For 20 years, Castrol MAGNATEC has been protecting engines from the start-up first second with Intelligent Molecules, which provide additional protection during warm-up periods. In response to the changing driving conditions in the city, Castrol has developed a new generation of Castrol MAGNATEC engine oil with DUALOCK technology. DUALOCK technology is the latest development from Castrol. Thanks to the new DUALOCK technology, protective molecules two different types are firmly connected like a lock and are attracted to the engine parts, forming a powerful protective layer that reduces engine wear by up to 50%, both during warm-up and when driving in the city with frequent stops.

DUALOCK technology is used in Castrol MAGNATEC products in various viscosity grades. Castrol MAGNATEC Motor Oils are suitable for petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles and will be available shortly from Castrol workshops, garages and stores across the country.
